Specialism

Newton House forms a step down service within the neuro-rehabilitation pathway, providing care for adults who have sustained a catastrophic brain injury and those who have complex, specialist nursing needs. Newton House is also able to provide neuro-palliative care for service users with long-term neurological conditions reaching the end of life.

Service users benefit from high nursing skill ratios, with SMART assessments and ongoing SMART treatment programmes to ensure their care plans are personally developed and monitored to ensure they achieve their individual goals. Glenside can offer WHIM assessment and service users have access to therapy input on a referral basis, where required.

Facilities

Newton House bedrooms have semi-ensuite facilities, with a choice of lounge areas and a conservatory. The grounds of Newton House include an attractive patio and mature garden area.

Additional on-site facilities for both the service user and their families include access to the on-site gardens and coffee shop, where visitors are able to meet their loved one without the restrictions of being confined to private accommodation.
